Gate Safety Awareness Month is here

October holds special significance for Ready, Set, Safe! An unsecured gate on the perimeter of a school campus led to the death of Alex Quanbeck in 2019, and we know similar incidents have occurred across the country. Ready, Set, Safe! was established in his memory, and Gate Safety Awareness month takes place during Alex’s birthday month. Please join us in honoring Alex’s memory by learning more about gate safety and begin to build your own safety mindset to be aware of hidden hazards where kids learn and play.

Trick or Treat? Keep Halloween decorations safe.

The massive skeletons, the witches in the trees, the blow-up ghosts - nothing says Halloween like decorations in classrooms and at home. To keep them fun and safe, make sure they’re properly installed so they don’t fall or create tripping hazards. Don’t let your decorations become the real fright!
