Amanda Klinger & Dr. Amy Klinger

Dr. Amy Klinger is the Co-Founder and Director of Programs for The Educators’ School Safety Network. Her 42 years in education include service as a teacher, building principal, and professor in educational leadership. In addition to her educational background, Dr. Klinger has expertise in crisis management, violence prevention, threat assessment and active shooter response.

Amanda Klinger, Esquire is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations for the Educators' School Safety Network. She has past experience as an attorney and has worked in higher education as an instructor and safety expert. 

The Klingers coauthored Keeping Students Safe Every Day as well as numerous articles on school safety and violence prevention featured in national and international publications. Their research and recommendations are frequently highlighted in the national media in response to school-based crisis incidents. Amanda and Amy are featured presenters at regional, national, and international education and law enforcement conferences on school safety and security issues.
